12 Days of Apps: DROPBOX

Ross was having lunch with a referral and was hoping to close the sale.  They seemed very interested and asked if he could email some documents that same afternoon to a colleague.  Fortunately, he had them available via Dropbox and was able to send the message with attachments immediately.  They were impressed, and he got the deal.  Ross had previously lost valuable time with prospective clients because he had to wait until he got back to the office hours later,
and then he started using Dropbox to access larger files from his mobile devices so he could be better prepared.

Dropbox allows you to upload from your desk computer and have ready access via mobile.  It is also great for sharing files among teams - instead of sending files via email or transporting with flash drives, just share the folder via Dropbox to the people you choose.

Dropbox is also great for personal use.
Where do your photos and videos live if you lose your smartphone or it becomes unreadable?  If you don't have them backing up somewhere, they could be lost.  Dropbox can auto-save photos from your device.

Dropbox can store lots of files so that you can access them from anywhere.  And, by sharing with friends, and/or upgrading to Pro or Business account, your Dropbox storage limit can be quite large.
